Dumping Syndrome is mostly associated with malabsorptive gastric surgery, specifically gastric bypass surgery. Patients will experience the symptoms of dumping syndrome soon after eating or within three hours of eating. The symptoms might include nausea, vomiting, bloating, cramping, diarrhea, profuse sweating followed by chills, fatigue, and dizziness. When insulin levels go back to normal symptoms subside.

If fried chicken is the only protein offered remove and dispose of your skin and breading and enjoy the meat without it.

Remember to consume two bites of protein to everyone bite of complicated carbohydrate. When taking small bites of protein three forks will measure about one ounce of proteins. The tight feeling in the gastric surgical pouch is an indicator of fullness and the signal to stop eating. Avoid pain by following this signal and stop eating. Taste Wisely.
