IoT-based Intelligent Fitness System

•A novel IoT-based fitness system was created in this paper. The details of a fitness system receive in the paper, like the designs of program and server. Intelligent technologies are introduced in the paper to attain a better user experience for fitness system. Using the global economic development, fitness golf club is developing rapidly in the world. Meanwhile, the fitness industry is booming specifically for urban white-collar population. In the circumstances, people need more scientific and practical guidance to build their body.

In this paper, we design an Internet of things (IoT) centered fitness system to monitor the health statuses of exercisers. The system provides guidance for exercisers. When exercising, the exercise data is collected by sensors and fitness band. Subsequently, these data are delivered to the functional system to be analyzed. By using artificial intelligence technology, the machine can extract useful guidance information for users’ bodybuilding.

In this paper, we will explain the details of the functional system and further reach out to the execution technology. The design of this kind of system is a trend for future years fitness application. Binbin Yong received his get good at’s degree in Computer Technology and Research from Lanzhou University in 2012. Now he could be a Ph.D.

School of Information Science and Engineering, Lanzhou University. He is researching in parallel computing of GPU, machine learning, and artificial neural network. Zijian Xu graduated from Sun Yat-sen University in 2014. He is learning for his get better at degree in Lanzhou University since 2015. His major is computer technology, and his passions include machine learning, cloud processing and medical informatics.

Xing Wang received her bachelor level in Information Security from Sichuan University in 2014. Now she is a master candidate and studying in the Embedded and Distributed Laboratory, Lanzho u University. She is researching in artificial neural network, machine learning, deep learning and big data. Libin Cheng received her master’s degree in institute of Modern Communication Technology, School of information Engineering and Science, Lanzhou University. She actually is employed in 93929 People’s Liberation Army. Xue Li received her B.S. Lanzhou University in 2015. And now she is a master applicant in the School of Information Science and Engineering, Lanzhou University. She actually is researching in face recognition and automatic detection technology of heart disease with ECG.

He is now researching in Android Information Security. Qingguo Zhou received the B.S. M.S. degrees in Physics from Lanzhou University in 1996 and 2001, respectively, and received Ph.D.

Theoretical Physics from Lanzhou University in 2005. Now he is a professor of Lanzhou University or college and working in the educational college of Information Technology and Anatomist. He is also a Fellow of IET. He was a recipient of IBM Real-Time Innovation Award in 2007, a recipient of Google FacultyAward in 2011, and a recipient of Google Faculty Research Award in 2012.
